Projects
In pursuit of its mission, the IRED Institute has founded, co-founded, and operated a number of non-profit educational initiatives, including IPL Scholarship, OpenEdu Initiative, PLEMS Education, and OneBook.
The GoodBooks Awards is a book award jointly organized by the GoodBooks Initiative, a non-profit cultural and educational project and the IRED Institute, an independent educational organization.
Today, the GoodBooks Awards is regarded as one of Vietnam’s largest independent and civic book awards, distinguished by a selection process that combines scholarly evaluation (professional expertise) with readers’ voting (public engagement).
The mission of the GoodBooks Initiative, established in 2007, is: “To contribute to the advancement of public knowledge and the enlightenment of society through the promotion of good books and reading culture.”
In other words, the GoodBooks Awards seeks to bring valuable and meaningful books closer to the public, while also encouraging more readers to engage with high-quality books. Through honoring and spreading the value of outstanding books, the award also expresses gratitude to authors, translators, and publishers for their contributions in bringing intellectually and culturally significant works to society.

The IPL Enlightened Leadership School is a non-profit educational initiative for young entrepreneurs and leaders, established in 2007 by dedicated business leaders, intellectuals, and PACE Institute of Management. Its mission is to contribute to the development of a new generation of leaders through a distinctive enlightened leadership education model.
All admitted participants receive full scholarships through the IPL Scholarship to undertake an intensive and uniquely designed leadership development program jointly organized by PACE Institute of Management and the IRED Institute in collaboration with global partners, and delivered in Vietnam.
According to a resolution of the IPL Board of Trustees, effective January 2, 2017, PACE Institute of Management has assumed full responsibility not only for the academic and operational aspects of IPL, but also for its legal, financial, and other institutional matters.
Over nearly two decades of pioneering work, IPL has successfully integrated “Vietnamese spirit” with “Global excellence,” as well as “Enlightened Education” with “Leadership Development.” Within this framework, the Enlightened Education components are primarily led by the IRED Institute, while the Leadership Development components are implemented by PACE Institute of Management in collaboration with partners from PACE’s global ecosystem, including FranklinCovey, Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute, Blanchard, and American Management Association.
