Program Overview:

The IRED Institute of Education, the Asia Pacific Centre for Leadership and Change (APCLC) of the Hong Kong Institute of Education, and the Vietnam Development Information Center (VDIC) of the World Bank (WB) jointly organize this program

  • Tuition: Full scholarships are offered on a competitive basis to a limited number of qualified university lecturers, researchers, and postgraduate students.
     
  • Participants: University professors/lecturers, researchers from institutes and research centers, as well as doctoral candidates and postgraduate students seeking to enhance their research skills in the social sciences and educational sciences.
     
  • Program Objectives:
    • To provide participants with core knowledge, key insights, and essential skills for conducting successful research and publishing research outcomes;
    • To connect current and aspiring researchers across various fields of the social sciences, and to facilitate access to research methodologies, modes of thinking, and skills for publishing in reputable international academic journals;
    • To foster dialogue, learning, and discussions on the challenges faced by researchers and education practitioners in Vietnam.
       
  • Teaching Methodology:  Sessions are delivered through lectures, in-class discussions, and assigned readings. In Ho Chi Minh City, participants attend face-to-face sessions with the instructor. In Hanoi, participants join via video conferencing.
