Seminars

The IRED Institute, in collaboration with scholars, researchers, and education experts, organizes academic events such as seminars, workshops, and conferences, both domestic and international, in the fields of culture, education, and social sciences.

Seminar:“Education in the Age of Enlightenment"

On 18 February 2012, IRED launched its first academic seminar series—Philosophy of Education—with a seminar titled, “Education in the Age of Enlightenment.” The majority of the attendees were educators, researchers, and graduate students.

The guest speaker, Bui Van Nam Son—a highly-regarded Vietnamese scholar and philosophical researcher, delivered an engaging and insightful presentation that ignited the good questions and energy of the seminar attendees. With the facilitation of Dr. Nguyen Thi Tu Huy, IRED’s researcher, most seminar participants were enthusiastically sharing their thoughts, concerns and hopes for the education system in Vietnam.
